firewall rules. However, in cases where a firewall denies outbound

traffic by default or uses manual NAT, it may be helpful to open the following ports.

ProtocolPort/sUse
TCP80, 443Web UI's and provisioning servers
TCP80, 442, 443Instant Fax server
UDP5060SIP signaling
TCP7000, 7001Fax ATA

The following ports are used by the UC Client

The UC Client only requires ports TCP/443 and TCP/9002 outbound. These carry encrypted web socket traffic. Port 9002 socket carries all SIP traffic. Additionally, audio communications are over DTLS (TLS for UDP) on ports 30000 - 40000 UDP.

The following ports are used by ReachUC:

  • TCP - 443, 4998, 5060, 7080, 24998
  • UDP - 4998, 10000-65535(for RTP/RTCP packets)
